Fundamentals of Personal Protection
It’s good to have a lifeguard, but it’s better to know how to swim.
Personal security is a fundamental human need, but ultimately an individual responsibility. In the moment of truth, the “lifeguards” of society simply won’t be there to protect us. We are, in effect, on our own.
Yet violence is never random, and even the most desperate predator is careful in selecting his prey. All “Bad Guys”—from the street criminal to the persuasion predator—follow predictable patterns. You can identify their behavior in advance through a few easily spotted indicators—but only if you know what to look for.
As the foundation of the series, INPOWER baselines you on the key personal security skills and knowledge that will allow you to progress through the rest of the series. Protect yourself, anywhere, anytime.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS
How to recognize early warning indicators of danger
How to recognize and manage “interviews” that often precede an attack
How to use improvised weapons such as pens, magazines, and cell phones as powerful force-multipliers
How to disrupt someone’s nervous system and instantly KO them from close range with your bare hands—all without hurting your hands
How to instantly incapacitate someone pinning you to the ground, freeing yourself to escape

Active Shooter Survival Escape & Response Tactics
Know what to do if you come face to face with an armed intruder.
When seconds count, just knowing what to do can mean the difference between life and death. Should you Run, Hide, or Fight? We will explore these questions and define the answers in an immediately useable format that allows for instant and accurate prioritization of physical action. Participants will know when to Run or Hide, and more importantly, how.
Additionally, we will fill the critical void in the Run-Hide-Fight protocol—namely, what to do if running and hiding are no longer options, and you come face to face with an armed intruder. Practical, last-resort fight-back options—including gun disarms—will be taught. These techniques are simple, realistic, and available to anyone of any age or physical ability, and once learned, can be retained for life.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS
Gun disarming for varying distances, for handguns and long guns, from first- and third-party perspective
Tactical considerations for managing lockdowns and active shooter situations
Controlling panic and avoiding paralysis
Managing others during a critical incident

Advanced Situational Awareness & Surveillance Detection
You see with your mind, not with your eyes.
Situational awareness is the foundation of personal security. The process goes far beyond merely paying attention to one’s surroundings. Paying attention is, in fact, just the prerequisite.
True situational awareness involves not just seeing, but knowing what to look for. The trouble is, we see with our mind, not our eyes. So how do you tune your senses and really see? How do you distinguish what’s important from what’s irrelevant? How do you make these techniques second nature, without living in fear or burning out?
RADAR provides a deep dive into how our mind works; explains why so many people are chronically distracted and easily surprised; and shows what you need to look for and how to condition key observational skills to happen automatically. Ultimately, this course teaches you how to tune your RADAR to recognize danger even when you’re not actively paying attention.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS
How to tune your radar to give yourself the situational awareness of Jason Bourne
How to recognize hostile surveillance by professional-level bad guys, and what to do if you realize you’re being followed
How to overcome “change blindness” and fixation that causes a loss of awareness
How to habituate the process of identifying your exits, and how to teach your kids/grandkids to do the same

Understanding the Anatomy of Evil
This unique lecture offers you a window into the mind of predators; how they think and process their crimes; what they are looking for in a victim; how they select and “interview” their potential targets; and based on this knowledge, how you can avoid or manage threats, should they materialize in your life or the lives of your family members.
Our exploration will examine the perspective and process of violent predators; explore the disturbing world of predators who use charm and persuasion to create opportunities; and dive into the minds of the most dangerous animal of them all: sociopaths.
1 in 25 Americans fit the clinical definition of sociopath—someone who victimizes others without emotion or remorse. Thankfully, not all are homicidal, mass murderers, or serial killers, but these “wolves in sheep’s clothing” live among us and can do incalculable harm. There’s little difference psychologically between nonviolent sociopaths and Dylan Klebold, Jeffrey Dahmer, or the 9/11 terrorists.
Understanding the common motives and identifiers between all Bad Guys is fundamental to understanding how to protect yourself, your interests, and your loved ones.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS
Understanding the 3 types of Bad Guys
How to spot them and identify the universal “tells” that you are dealing with a dangerous personality
How to recognize persuasion predators as easily as you would a mugger in a ski mask
What are sociopaths/psychopaths, and how do you spot them?
What to do if you realize you are dealing with a dangerous personality

Travel Security & Spy Craft to Defeat Restraints
Fools rush in where angels dare to tread.

You will also learn the tradecraft of how to blend in to avoid being targeted, and how to recognize and evade hostile surveillance.
Additionally, in this exclusive seminar, you will learn spy secrets that could save your life, including a variety of methodologies and techniques to defeat unlawful restraints such as duct tape, zip ties, and handcuffs—as taught to CIA clandestine field agents.
Learn the insider knowledge and skills required to travel safely, domestically or abroad, with confidence.

Emergency Edged & Impact Weapon Defense
It is better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in war.
Knives and other handheld weapons pose significant danger—both in the US and abroad.
OnGuard teaches a simple, systematic approach to managing some of the most dynamic, frightening, and dangerous self-defense situations imaginable. You will learn to recognize the four distinct attack patterns presented by knives or impact weapons, and how to neutralize and incapacitate an attacker even if he/she has a weapon in each hand.
This defensive process will be applied from both first- and third-person perspectives, allowing you to use the same skills you would use to protect yourself to save someone you love.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS
Learn the research-based realities of knife attacks; how they occur; what you need to know to survive; and how the things you see in movies or learn at most martial arts schools can get you killed
Learn the key tactical differences between edged and impact weapons and why these factors are critical
Learn how to avoid, disrupt, take down, or disarm a weapon-wielding Bad Guy

Cultivating the Warrior Mindset
“It is one thing to study war, and another to live the warrior’s life.” —Telamon of Arcadia, Mercenary, 5th Century B.C.E.
There are two essential paths through life.
The path of the victim and the path of the victor. The one we choose determines who we become. It also influences how we see the world and how the world perceives us.
Most people choose—though they are unaware they are making this choice—the way of the victim. This way is inevitably the path of least resistance. It is seductive, easy at first, yet more treacherous with each succeeding step.
Once internalized, it becomes a habit almost impossible to break…
In this final module, Sam Rosenberg, author of The Path of the Victor, will explain the four simple steps required to walk the path of the victor, and to develop an unbeatable mindset.
The path is simple, not easy… Are you ready?
