At LiveReady we are committed to respecting your privacy. In general, you can visit LiveReady on the Internet without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information. Once you provide us personally identifiable information (any information by which you can be identified), you can be assured that it will only be used to support legitimate relationships with LiveReady.

LiveReady is a consumer reporting agency. It is required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. §1681 et seq. (“FCRA”) to maintain the confidentiality of all consumer information.  LiveReady endeavors in all respects to comply with these obligations.

LiveReady obtains information on an individual consumer only upon the request of a client or user who has a permissible purpose under the FCRA to request information on that consumer in order to provide consumer reports. The FCRA requires a user for employment purposes to certify to us that it has a permissible purpose for the report and has obtained the written consent of the consumer to request information before we can supply the requested information. All users must certify that they have a permissible purpose to request a report such as for pre-employment screening. Our clients also have an obligation to keep your information confidential and secure. 

Any information gathered on any consumer may only be provided to the user authorized by the consumer or permitted by the FCRA or similar state law to receive the information. We cannot and do not share, sell or distribute consumer information with or to any third party other than the requesting party thereof.  Subject to the rules under the FCRA, a consumer has the right to dispute the accuracy or completeness of any information contained in the consumer’s file.  However, we may be required, upon receipt of a court order to release the information in civil litigation, or as otherwise required by law, to disclose information regarding a consumer to law enforcement agencies.

Employment at LiveReady Inc., may require a thorough background investigation.  LiveReady customarily conducts such investigations itself with information you have provided.  Both as a Consumer Reporting Agency and as an employer or prospective employer, LiveReady does not use your information for any purpose other than a legally authorized and permissible reason.

AWARENESS

LiveReady provides this Privacy Statement to make you aware of our privacy policy and practices and of the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. 

WHAT WE COLLECT

Our website aggregates information automatically sent by browsers, such as source IP address, time and date of the request and the page requested. Non-identifying and aggregate information is used to help us improve our website.

Some of our website pages may utilize “cookies”. Cookies are identifiers sent by a website to your browser and kept on your computer to facilitate your next visit to the website. Many browsers allow you to accept or reject a cookie when it is sent to your computer.

Future enhancements to the LiveReady website may allow you to order products or services, make requests, and register to receive materials. These pages will require collection of personal information such as name, contact and billing information, transaction, and credit card information.  If you are a customer or past customer we reserve the right to send offers, news, or other material via email.

Information sources outside of the United States may be contacted, at the client’s request, in order verify information claimed by an applicant which took place outside of the United States. All personal information will be transmitted and stored in a secure manner in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.  In the case of international searches, personal information may be transferred to other countries, including countries that have inadequate privacy laws according to the European Commission or other data protection commissions and/or government authorities.

To better understand your needs and provide you with better products and services, we may also ask you to voluntarily provide us with information regarding your personal or professional interests, demographics, experience with our products, and contact preferences.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

LiveReady will not sell, rent, or lease your personally identifiable information to others. Unless we have your permission or are required by law, we will only share the personal data you provide to us with other LiveReady entities and/or business partners who are acting on our behalf for the uses described above.  If your personally identifiable information is used to prepare a pre employment background investigation, only the prospective employer that has engaged our service will receive your information.
